What I offer

  • My experience in communications and advocacy has been diverse, encompassing global campaign roll-outs for the former UN Secretary-General's Ban-Ki Moon Sustainable Energy For All initiative, as well as creating and disseminating sensitive high-level correspondence. Additionally, I have worked on messaging for critical public awareness and information campaigns. Through my work, I have actively supported initiatives aimed at promoting youth empowerment, climate action, gender equality, and citizen participation, demonstrating my commitment to promoting social progress and sustainable development. Leveraging my skills and expertise, I am passionate about advancing causes related to sustainability, social justice, and human rights.

  • As a dedicated consultant in climate action and sustainability, my mission is to drive positive change through strategic initiatives that advance sustainable development and resilient communities. My professional journey across both international public and private sectors has shaped my approach, integrating a deep commitment to human rights and youth empowerment with a focus on the environment, sustainable energy, and the principles of the circular economy.

My work is characterized by a passion for addressing immediate climate challenges and fostering long-term sustainability. Through groundbreaking policy development, innovative community projects, and targeted educational programs, I strive to promote an integrated approach that enhances both human and environmental well-being.

Engage with me to transform environmental challenges into opportunities for sustainable growth. Together, we can navigate the complexities of climate action and sustainable development to create impactful, enduring change in your organization and community.

  • As a social scientist and non-resident fellow at Payne Institute, one of the top 100 energy and public policy think tanks, I have published various articles and peer-reviewed works for international organizations such as the Global Initiative's Global Crime Index. I have also assisted governments, organizations, and individuals in analyzing the geo-strategic developments and energy challenges of the Middle East and beyond, particularly in the realm of global energy and security questions.

  • Amidst a challenging environment in 2015, I collaborated with the UN and government to establish Iraq's first crisis and natural disaster management organization, JCC, from scratch. As the director of Information Management and Data Exchange and Head of the 24/6 operation room, I managed this feat despite facing a level 3 humanitarian crisis, the rapid expansion of ISIS, and severe budget cuts. This experience equipped me with advanced skills to tackle complex challenges, particularly in crisis and natural disaster management and response. As the primary point of contact for UN country teams, international organizations, governments, and local civil society, I oversaw, informed, and planned the humanitarian response and crisis coordination, including civil-military coordination to liberate Mosul from ISIS. My experience includes working with both governmental and non-governmental institutions in the field of humanitarian response.

  • My ability to forge and maintain relationships with leading institutions, professionals, activists, researchers, and academics has proven to be a valuable asset throughout my career. I have directed numerous programs and projects related to policy, advocacy, and strategy development, all of which have contributed to the success of the organisations I have worked with.

I have spoken at numerous events, such as TEDX NIshtiman, TEDx Bolzano, Universities and Think Tanks. Meanwhile, also providing trainings for journalists and other civil society members.

  • Since 2011 I have been mentoring graduates and young professionals in Kurdistan and the wider region.

As someone who has spent over 20 years working in international affairs and social sciences, both in the field and academia, I firmly believe that complex challenges require a multidisciplinary approach. That's why I founded PX Consultancy in 2011, which draws on my experience in the private and public sectors and developing and developed countries. I focus on rebuilding post-conflict and crisis-ridden societies and bringing my wealth of expertise to this vital work toward an inclusive, more just, and equitable world for the next generations.
